Reporting an incorrect figure

This is the message we most want to receive. To make it quick to act on, please include:

  • the address of the page
  • the figure that looks wrong and what it should be
  • a link to the official source, if you have one

Corrections to rates and formulas are made ahead of anything else.

Data protection requests

For access, correction or erasure requests under the GDPR, write to the same address with “GDPR” in the subject line. See the privacy policy for what is and is not collected — in short, we do not hold accounts or personal profiles.

Suggesting a calculator or a term

Requests are welcome and they do get built, in rough order of how often they come up. What helps most is describing the situation rather than the tool: “I need to know whether shipping from a Dutch warehouse changes my VAT position” is more useful than “please add a VAT tool”, because the first tells us what the answer has to contain.

The same applies to glossary entries. If a term turned up in a supplier quote or a marketplace policy and the definitions you found elsewhere did not settle it, that is exactly the kind of gap worth filling.

How long a reply takes

Usually a working day or two. Corrections to a rate or a formula are looked at first, because a wrong number stays wrong for every visitor until it is fixed; everything else waits behind them.

This is a project run by one person alongside other work, so there is no support desk and no ticket number. Messages do get read, and a correction that turns out to be right gets published the same week.

What we cannot help with

We cannot advise on your specific tax position, review your filings or tell you which rate applies to your goods. Those questions need a qualified adviser who knows your circumstances, and answering them from a contact form would do you more harm than good.
